Why We Need A Line For  Taxpayers First

The one-party rule is not working in the Town of Riverhead. Riverhead town taxpayers need a choice where they can cast their vote on a line that goes beyond party affiliation.  Independent voters want their voices to be heard on the issues that impact their daily lives.

Meet The Candidates

Jerome "Jerry" Halpin

I want to protect our young adults, working families and seniors from being taxed off Long Island by creating a stable budget that is not dependent on the over taxation of residents. Throughout my 30 years as a pastor and nonprofit entrepreneurial leader I have thrived on challenges, re-thinking, retooling and reimagining how to make the most out of the resources available. I believe in creating avenues that foster community dialogue that are solution driven for everyone. I have made a career of helping people and organizations through common sense leadership and financial stability. With your vote, I will do the same for our amazing town.

Mark Woolley

I have a deep understanding of Riverhead's critical issues. My advocacy in safeguarding our groundwater and open space, coupled with my dedication to supporting our farming community, demonstrates a clear vision for sustainable growth. During my time in the Federal and State government,  I helped to secure vital  resources to improve the lives of working families across the region. I bring much-needed experience at a time when it's sorely needed to provide access to constituent services, to protect our community from unchecked overdevelopment, and to stand up for what is right for all town residents, not just the politically-connected.
